Our client is one of the world's largest and most prestigious law firms.

Their London-based US Capital Markets group offers commercial, insightful advice from capital markets specialists on the full range of equity, equity-linked and debt capital markets transactions across jurisdictions globally.

Working together with expert colleagues in competition, disputes, employment, finance, real estate, and tax; in jurisdictions throughout the world, the team has technical expertise and a complete understanding of both issuer and underwriter perspectives on transactions, including:

• Initial public offerings;
• Secondary fundraisings (including rights issues, placings and open offers, investment grade bonds and euro medium-term note programmes;
• Regulatory capital;
• Liability management;
• Exchangeable and convertible bonds;
• SEC-registered offerings;
• Sukuk, sovereign and quasi-sovereign issues and structured securitisations; and
• Collateral debt obligations (CDOs).

The team in London is now expanding due to increased client demand; and there is a need for mid-level Associate US Capital Markets Associate to assist on primarily ECM with some Debt work.

This is a tremendous opportunity to grow your US Capital Markets career with a market leader. In order to be considered you will have:

• An excellent academic background;
• A JD from a leading US law school, and probably NY bar qualification;
• Ideally 2-4 years' experience with a leading UK or US firm working on a broad range of debt and equity capital markets transactions.
