Senior Commercial lawyer to spearhead Commercial offering

This full service firm has gone from strength to strength over recent years.  As the next stage in their strategic recruitment plan they are keen to appoint an ambitious commercial solicitor to spearhead the commercial offering.

The role is very much client facing and the successful candidate will advise a client base of large regional businesses, some national clients as well as local clients.

Caseload includes advising on 

• Company incorporations
• Company structures and group re-structurings
• Partnership and shareholders’ agreements
• Sale and purchase of businesses (both assets and shares transactions)
• Commercial contracts
• Securitization

A following is not required as there is a good flow of instructions from both the corporate and the private client departments but you will embrace the opportunity to take an active role in business development initiatives.  This will include strengthening existing relations, attending networking events and raising the profile of the commercial offering more generally.

The successful candidate will have trained with a highly respected law firm, preferably a city or national law firm and have a strong academic background.
