THE FIRM
A leading international law firm with offices in multiple and key locations worldwide.
THE ROLE
Within an in-house team which guides on privacy laws, and creates firm policies regarding privacy and data, working closely with the firm's IT security group to develop effective strategies and protections.
The team also investigates any data privacy exceptions, conducts data privacy impact assessments, fulfils data subject access requests, provides training to all firm employees and negotiates data privacy provisions in all contracts.
ABOUT YOU
A lawyer with 5-8pqe, your experience will have focussed on European privacy and data protection related matters.
Your experience may have been gained with a law firm and/or in-house legal department and should also include information security related knowledge (particularly GDPR).
Having worked in an international legal environment, you will have excellent interpersonal and communication skills as well as the ability to work independently yet integrate with the rest of the team around the world.
While working from home initially, flexible working arrangements are likely to be available in due course, providing a balance between in-person attendance and remote working.
