In-House Property / Residential Conveyancing Solicitor
Housing group Torus is seeking a Senior Property / Residential Conveyancing Solicitor or equivalent for a full time role to be based in Liverpool with occasional travel to St Helens and Warrington. At the moment the role will be based from home with some visits to the office, although it will return to a mainly office based role at the right time.
This is a role that would be suited to a Solicitor or qualified Legal Executive who has a strong background in residential property work. You will be the person in the in-house legal team who is responsible for the transactional property work in the group and be able to help support and develop other team members, so a certain amount of experience is important.
You will do excellent work in this organisation that acts as landlord, property developer, commercial contractor and social entrepreneur, and is going through significant change. The day to day work includes drafting residential/commercial leases, right to buy/acquire, staircasing, shared ownership and commercial matters.
You will understand securitisation and be able to work with external providers, building relationships with law firms. Development and service charges experience is welcomed although not a prerequisite.
