Head of Contingent Risks Underwriting

We have been retained by a mergers and acquisitions insurance underwriting platform looking to appoint an experienced Commercial or Insurance Litigator to the team to build and lead a contingent risks offering (litigation insurance). A contingent risk is a tailor-made policy that can be implemented within the context of a M&A transaction and offers coverage for a broad range of contingent legal risks for which neither party to the transaction will accept financial responsibility.

You build the product offering, lead strategy and the P&L with the support of the wider M&A insurance business.

We are keen to speak to Commercial Disputes Lawyers from top-tier law firms who have seen broad range of premium, international disputes or individuals at litigation funders with a clear understanding on how an insurance policy can de-risk a dispute.
