Our client, a leading City practice, are looking to grow their Residential Development team at 2-4PQE.
The Company:
Our client is a leading name in the international real estate space, with a strong presence across Europe, the US, the Middle East and the Far East. With an established reputation across all areas of real estate, they are now at a point where, due to increased workflow, they are looking to grow their residential development offering in London.
Joining a mid-sized team with a high calibre of partners and associates, you will work with household names in the retail and hospitality sector, property investors, funders and international property developers. Our client places a strong emphasis on work/life balance with low billable target hours and a progressive approach towards agile working.
The Role:
With a particular focus on investment landlord and tenant matters, you will support partners and senior associates across the Residential Development team with a range of matters including:
- Drafting of leases and lease renewals;
- Managing Landlord & Tenant portfolios;
- Commercial acquisitions and disposals of property assets;
- Purchase and disposal of high-value investment properties, often working with purchases outside of the UK;
- Playing a key role in business development, including attending events and drafting thought leadership pieces.
About You:
You will have 2-4 years post-qualification experience in a residential property position at a Top 75 UK law firm and be looking to challenge yourself at a firm who are known for their work across the real estate space. It is essential that you have strong landlord and tenant experience, working across a broad range of residential property transactions.
The role will provide high levels of autonomy and allow you to run transactions independently so it is important that you have experience of a range of transactions and the ability to run matters from instruction to completion with minimal supervision. You will be looking to join a growing firm with a strong brand in the real estate market and a genuinely collegiate and relaxed environment.
