Sports & Media Associate

Pure Search are instructed on an exciting opportunity with an international firm looking to grow their sports, media and entertainment offering.

The Company:

Our client is a leading international firm with particular strength across media, technology, sports and entertainment. With a full service offering, commercial is very much a core pillar of the firm and offers one of the most high-profile and exciting client bases of any firm in the UK, including Premier League football clubs, social media platforms and leading media groups. Our client has been growing significantly over the past 2-3 years and it is an exciting time to join the firm.

The Role:

Sitting within the wider commercial/corporate group, the role will expose you to a broad mix of sports and entertainment matters from football club takeovers through to joint ventures, sponsorship and endorsement agreements, IP and brand protection.

Building on your personal interest/experience in sports and entertainment, you will have significant scope to become a specialist in sports, media and entertainment law at a firm with a genuine pedigree in this space. Our client also offers a strong and competitive salary and benefits package for those moving from larger international practices.

About You:

You will have gained at least four-years post-qualified corporate or commercial experience at a Top 50 ranked UK law firm and be firmly committed to making a long-term move in the sports, media and entertainment space. Previous experience of technology or media-related M&A or sports/events-related commercial contracts would be beneficial, although it is not essential.

You will have an enterprising and go-getter attitude and be looking for an equally entrepreneurial firm that can provide you with a platform to develop a strong foundation in the sports and entertainment world.
