JOB TITLE: Commercial Solicitor
PQE REQUIRED: 8+ years
LOCATION: Birmingham City Centre

THE ROLE:
You will be tasked with building and developing the Charities team, as part of the interview process you will devise a business plan and this will form your job description for the first two years. You will be taking instruction from charities and social enterprises, some of which will be the largest in the country, working closely alongside them on a range of commercial matters so as to ensure their ongoing stability and success. In particular you will be advising on the Charities Act, drafting trusts and contracts, advising on mergers and restructuring, governance. The team are actively involved in a number of professional networks and events and it is expected that you will contribute to this, as well as general business development work.

THE CANDIDATE:
We are looking for talented commercial solicitors with at least 8 years PQE and strong experience in charity law work. The successful candidate will be technically strong with excellent time management and organisational skills. A demonstrably strong aptitude for business development is a must as is a proven track record for delivering excellent client service. You will be an expert within this field of charity law and will have built and developed a portfolio of loyal clients who will instruct you on future matters.

Felicity Simpson – Consultant (Locum)

Following 4 years within the hospitality and sales sector, Felicity joined eNL in November 2016, after identifying legal  recruitment as an industry that interested her and  where she felt she could develop as an individual. Felicity is determined to become an expert in both recruitment and the legal industry, in order to provide her clients and candidates with strong market information and guidance.
