Legal Counsel - West Midlands. Full time role, flexible working on offer.

Having brought in a new General Counsel they are now growing the legal team, having recruited 3 lawyers recently, this is the final piece of the jigsaw. The role

You will work closely alongside the Head of Legal and the wider team to provide guidance to the business' sites across the globe as well as Central Functions.
The role is extremely varied and includes:

* Drafting, reviewing and negotiating a range of commercial contracts
* Reviews of major procurement contracts
* Any operational matters ranging from Governance & Compliance to Environmental matters;
* Mergers and Acquisitions
* Employment, Product Safety, Investigations, Compliance/Export Control, Audit, and Real Estate.

About you
* c4-7 years PQE
* Technically strong lawyer with solid generalist commercial experience
* Track record of being an influencer and an effective relationship builder
* You will be comfortable deputising for the Head of Legal and handling significant matters.

This is a global role, with travel (subject to covid restrictions) but flexible working is on offer. The business' main offices are based just south of Birmingham.
