The Role
The role is for a legal Director to assist in the continued growth of the Corporate & Commercial legal business with a focus on corporate reorganisations.
The role is for a legal pioneer who is determined to be amongst the first to be setting up a Corporate & Commercial legal team. You will be developing and delivering technical advice and senior supervision on delivery, being the principal point of client contact for legal work; cross-fertilised with other departments of the Business.
You will be part of an entrepreneurial department working alongside leaders in their fields demonstrating intra-group transactions (e.g Re-organisations, financing agreements and entity reductions exercise).
The Corporate and Commercial department will be handling Strong Corporate work in the areas of M&A, PC, VC, Funds, Restructuring alongside partnerships, commercial contracts, intellectual property, data privacy and debt listings. You will be providing and recognising new streams of revenue and grow the legal capability of the company whilst training lawyers and non-lawyers on a range of legal capability.

Requirements

• You will be a Corporate or Corporate Commercial Solicitor with at least 5 years PQE
• Have been exposed to a high-level of Corporate or Corporate Commercial exposure
• Entrepreneurial and driven
• You will have a strong track record with a respected law firm
• Qualified as a solicitor in England and Wales
• Salary is above market rate and is negotiable depending on your level of experience
