Job Details
We are seeking a legal counsel on behalf our client to be based in Manchester. This is an excellent opportunity for a move in-house to a globally renown, award winning business that is well respected in the industry.
The successful candidate will:
- Work across a variety of business units with high-level stakeholders and maintain a highly commercial and business orientated approach
- Negotiate and draft a wide variety of complex, international contracts; examples include financial services, pension funds, cloud services, employee benefits and insurance work. Including new products and other market innovations
- Manage various aspects of in-house counsel workstreams, such as ad hoc business queries, manage and budget for external counsel and internal resources, and develop training materials for both the business and the wider legal team
For this opportunity, we are seeking a legal counsel with at least 2 years of post-qualification experience, ideally trained in private practise. We are looking to hear from a lawyer who is confident, articulate, flexible and good at collaborative working. The role would suit a commercially focused lawyer; financial services experience is advantageous.
