Job Details
This is an exciting opening for a junior-mid level lawyer to join a new in-house legal team. It will be suited to someone who is instinctively interested in not just the law, but also the wider business, and will grasp the opportunity to be carefully developed by the General Counsel and supercharge their career.
Reporting directly to the General Counsel, the Legal Counsel will be involved in a broad portfolio of interesting and varied commercial work. The role will predominantly focus on negotiating, drafting, and advising on commercial contracts. You will work directly with internal and external clients in the contract negotiation process, including ensuring that sales and the business comply with laws, company processes and guidelines. The tasks will be general in nature, and not always completely law related, with exposure to wider corporate counsel matters too.
We are seeking a lawyer with at least 3 years PQE who is a skilful communicator, who can convey complex legal subject matters to somebody with no law experience, in normal language. If you have the ability to think commercially, we’d like to hear from you.
