Competition Knowledge Lawyer - Part Time

THE ROLE

A Competition PSL is now sought to join on a part time basis with hours equivalent to 2 days per week although alternative working hours will be considered for the right candidate.

The role has arisen due to the expansion of the current Knowledge Counsel's Brexit role, and the increasing size of the Competition practice.

ABOUT YOU

A lawyer with 2-6pqe from a Magic, Silver Circle or US law firm, while you will have a strong background in competition law, PSL experience is not a pre-requisite.

Your role will focus on internal know-how and client-facing activities such as briefings in a role which represents an exciting opportunity to take these aspects of the Department's work to the next level.

The role will encompass all aspects of the practice, including merger control, behavioural competition law, and competition as well as public procurement and State Aid.

While previous experience across all of these areas is not a pre-requisite, and it should be noted that in relation to competition litigation in particular, the Knowledge Lawyer team in the Dispute Resolution Department is responsible for the production and coordination of much of this know how.

You will be part of a wider network of Knowledge Lawyers at the firm, which meets regularly to discuss matters of common interest across practice areas and offers an outstanding career development training programme
