A leading firm based in Leeds with a refreshing approach and international presence, are continuing to dominate the legal field. This top 150 firm are looking for an ambitious and entrepreneurial individual to join their highly ranked Commercial Litigation team.

The Role

The firm are looking for Commercial Litigation Associate to join their busy city centre department in Leeds.
You will work on a varied and interesting caseload covering disputes across contracts, shareholder and partnerships, energy, IP, Property, construction, manufacturing and joint ventures.
You will deal with clients of all sizes and multimillion-pound cases through to disputes involving private individuals.
You will be provided with the tools to develop your technical knowledge and contribute to the profitability of the Employment team in a friendly and supportive environment.

This opportunity comes with excellent prospects for progression as it is an emergent role to support the firm's growing Employment caseload; senior positions at the firm are well within reach for the right candidate.


Requirements

· You will ideally be 3 years PQE (there is no upper limit in terms of PQE and less may still be considered)
· You will have a strong technical knowledge and first-class communication skills
· A meticulous eye for detail
· You will have good experience of dealing with large settlements
· You will have strong business development capabilities

Remuneration

· Salary is competitive and negotiable depending on your level of experience, on offer is an excellent benefits package and bonus scheme
