As a non-profit organisation, the focus is truly on improving the lives of patients and making a long-term difference to medical treatment and healthcare.

The Opportunity

The organisation now need to hire an additional lawyer, initially for 12 months, to provide dedicated legal support to a range of investments. The organisation is granting support to initiatives and projects and needs to orchestrate the granting of funds and the contracts related to this, as well as IP/patent in or out licensing or corporate spinouts. In addition, the position will require broader advice to the wider organisation in relation to these investments.

About You

This is a unique opportunity to join with an innovative, forward-thinking organisation with an excellent reputation and keen dedication to its cause at a key time of activity. Ideally, you will have knowledge and experience of the life sciences industry and preferably corporate spinouts, as well as the commercialisation of IP. A science background would be helpful but not essential. You will work closely with the business and as a result, a personable approach and the ability to work with people at all levels across the organisation is important.
