CHANNEL DISTRIBUTION LAWYER

APP SECTOR EXPERIENCE

12 MONTH CONTRACT

Our client, a leading media and entertainment company, is recruiting an experienced commercial lawyer with channel distribution and apps delivery experience to join its high performing legal & business affairs team. You will work closely with your commercial and legal colleagues in the UK and the EU to deliver great third party channels and apps to our client's customers, as well as secure the best distribution opportunities for its channels and content on other platforms.

You will be instrumental in delivering strategic and high-profile commercial deals autonomously, which will require you to liaise with colleagues and stakeholders across the business.

You will be a qualified solicitor with high calibre training from a leading law firm or company and considerable experience of working in the fields of commercial and intellectual property law. You must have demonstrable TV channel distribution experience and knowledge of relevant, often complex content distribution deal structures. Familiarity with the television and app sector and technology developments, particularly in relation to content delivery, will be highly desirable.

Candidates will need to demonstrate versatility, a commercial approach, excellent communication skills and the ability to adapt to new challenges, even if they are not within your area of expertise.
