The firm are looking for an Employment Partner to join their Manchester office.
You will join a well-established team that hosts one of the largest employment teams in the North West. The department have also been recognised in the Legal 500 and won a number of awards for their work.
You will work on a varied and interesting caseload covering both contentious and non-contentious matters, including contract and policy drafting, discrimination issues, managing discipline and performance, and redundancy and restructurings.
You will mentor and oversee the work of junior Lawyers and help them to progress in their careers.
will deal with clients of all sizes, ranging from OMB, SME to National clients. The firm deal with a number of household names in charities, registered providers, retailers, travel providers and from the leisure sector too.
This role comes with strong prospects to progress, in line with the growth agenda.
- You will be an Employment Lawyer with at least 7 years PQE (there is no upper limit regarding the amount of experience)
- You will have a strong technical knowledge and first-class communication skills
- You will have good experience of dealing with large settlements
- You will have strong business development capabilities
- A transferable client base or regional contacts is highly advantageous
