Our client, a global powerhouse of business litigation, has weathered 2020's storms and is now looking to expand the Competition Disputes capability of its London office.
The firm is renowned for its work on high profile cases in both the English High Court and the Competition Appeal Tribunal, as well as coordinating competition litigation claims in other jurisdictions globally. As well as litigating cases to judgment, they are also expert at resolving claims through alternative dispute resolution, such as mediation. The firm also has a strong track record of representing clients in the defence of investigations by national competition authorities as well as the European Commission (including sector inquiries), and managing internal investigations into competition law and bribery/corruption issues.
The wider firm acts for some of the largest and highest profile Commercial Court and Chancery Division cases, the so-called 'mega-trials'. Their international arbitration practice is renowned all over the globe, and arbitrates disputes under the rules of all the major arbitration bodies such as LCIA, ICC, AAA, ICSID, UNCITRAL, as well as the arbitration centres in Stockholm, Singapore, Hong Kong, Vienna and more.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a high quality competition disputes lawyer to join a global disputes powerhouse. The firm offers exceptional salaries and hefty bonus scheme.
The ideal candidate will be an England & Wales qualified competition disputes lawyer with 2-5 years' PQE. A post-graduate Masters in Competition/Antitrust law or a related area from a highly ranked university would be well regarded. New Zealand or Australian-qualified candidates will also be considered, and a generous sponsorship/relocation will be available to successful applicants.
