Are you seeking an opportunity to excel at a long-standing regional firm with high quality work and the opportunity to progress? This is an opportunity for a Senior Employment Solicitor to take control of their practice and drive forward the firm's existing client base.
The Firm
This long standing, regional firm with offices across the East Midlands, have a very well-respected reputation in the area. It is their pragmatic approach that is of paramount importance to them and has led to returning clients staying loyal to the firm over many decades.
The practice has a strong leadership team, they have a growing number of home-grown partners, which demonstrates well, their level of career development and investment. They have an ethos engrained that everyone had a voice and they are always open to listening to a new idea. They like to take on board fresh ideas so that they are still ahead of the curve.
The Partners work collaboratively to drive the practice forward by combining their critical legal expertise with strategic planning. Despite the current situation, they have been going through an expansion phase and they have been busier than ever, even in transactional departments. They have put in place a solid vision of their growth plans for the upcoming year and they are well on the way to meeting their goals.
The Role
The team find that good results are achieved by working closely with clients and building up relationships of trust and mutual respect. The firm are looking for an individual with the drive and hunger to help build up the firm's caseload on a long-term basis.
This vacancy has arisen due to the incredibly large amount of work that an established Partner has on at the moment. They have been with the firm for several years and needs the support of a mid-level Lawyer to assist.
Due the nature of the work, there will be an even split of contentious and non-contentious work. This is a varied role and would very much suit a candidate looking for a broad mix to further enhance their skill set.
Requirements
- You will be an Employment Solicitor with 7 + years PQE
- You will be meticulous when it comes to detail
- You should have first-class communication skills
- The ability to build credible client relationships is essential
