In-House Paralegal - Healthcare Litigation

This is a rare and unique opportunity to work internally for one of the largest trade unions for nurses, defending and representing their interests in matters such as misconduct.

The Work:

You will be defending professional regulation matters. Defending Nurses in matters relating to potential misconduct.

This is incredibly interesting work and the team also handles some inquest work. Due to the nature of the work there is sometimes a crime element (which is referred to specialist criminal lawyers).

The day to day is broad and very interesting.

You won't deal with employment matters as they have a specialist team for that work but you would get exposure to everything that goes on - this makes it a very exciting role for someone looking for further experience to kickstart their career.

The Team:

The team is 19 people strong and is one of the friendliest teams you could find, anywhere. There is another paralegal in the team who handles (solely) indemnity work and you could also get involved in some of that too.

The Requirements:

This role requires a Paralegal to join the London team - ideally with experience in some sort of trade union work / litigation matters.

You will ideally have a law degree and be looking to gain experience with a respected employer.

The salary is competitive and much better than most traditional private practice/paralegal positions.

You can work from home! (They will require you to be in the London office for the first few days to get your IT and systems sorted but after that you can work remotely)
