Commercial/Outsourcing Lawyer – Pioneering Fintech 3pqe+

This entrepreneurial FinTech, specialised in consumer payment services, is looking for a Commercial/Outsourcing lawyer to join its Legal team, reporting directly to the General Counsel as their 2^nd in command. You will be working closely with the business advising on commercial contracts negotiations, outsourcing arrangements (including implementing the EBA guidelines on outsourcing) and ad-hoc M&A transactions, as well as providing strategic advice to the data, products and marketing teams.  

You should have trained and qualified at a top City law firm, have ideally gained some in-house experience or secondment and have strong commercial, data protection and financial services experience with a particular focus on commercial contracts and outsourcing arrangements. You should have an interest in working with an e-money and payments/Open Banking business, ideally one focused on merchant acquiring, and an enthusiasm for innovation in technology.
