Legal Counsel - Consumer Credit / Payments - Leading Bank

Our client is a leading bank looking to hire an experienced consumer credit or payments regulatory lawyer to join their highly regarded legal team.

The successful candidate will have a broad focus and work closely with various teams across the business. You will be supporting and advising on regulatory matters in relation to product development and regulatory implementation projects. Key areas of coverage will include consumer credit and payments. This role is ideal for someone looking to move in-house to an organisation with an established brand, offering cutting edge work and the opportunity to work with an established legal team.

Skills required

• Qualified lawyer with 3+ years PQE gained at a leading law firm or in-house financial services institution.
• Strong experience with advising on retail banking financial regulations and experience with CCA, CONC or PSD2
• In-house experience gained through a secondment or permanent position is desirable but not a pre-requisite.
