The Role

The firm are looking for a Private Client Partner to join their Manchester office in the heart of the City.

You will work closely with the other Partners within the Private Client department, and more generally across the firm, to drive the business forwards. You will work as part of a driven and commercially successful leadership team.

The firm has a highly regarded, legal 500 ranked private client department. You will join a highly skilled team that is headed up by heavy hitting private client Partners. They often deal with an affluent HNW individual caseload, sometimes with International assets and interests.

The caseload will involve wills, trusts, probates, inheritance tax, estate administration and LPA's.

This role comes with strong prospects to progress, in line with the growth agenda.

Requirements

• You will be a Private Client Lawyer with at least 8 years PQE (there is no upper limit regarding the amount of experience)
• A transferable client base or regional contacts is highly advantageous
• You will have a strong technical knowledge and first-class communication skills
• You will have good experience of dealing with large settlements
• You will have strong business development capabilities
• Experience of overseeing a team is desirable, however not essential
