Funds Associate (5-7 PQE) – CAYMAN ISLANDS – Major Offshore Firm – Funds Capital of the World

The Cayman Islands remain the worldwide leader for the establishment of hedge funds with more than 8500 open ended and regulated funds registered. This major offshore firm is actively looking to hire a bright, dynamic lawyer to join their growing funds practice. The team specializes in the formation and structuring of both hedge and private equity funds across multiple offshore jurisdictions. 

The firm have specifically flagged that they are looking for candidates who have trained and practiced with top tier firms in London, Dublin and Sydney/Melbourne (or those who already have direct offshore experience), either specializing in funds or in corporate teams doing some funds/PE related work. 

The firm will provide the successful candidate with any necessary on-site training and offers an extremely attractive remuneration package, which will include relocation, health and pension benefits. There will also be an opportunity to get involved in some marketing and business development, which will involve periodic international travel (when possible).
