Senior Funds Lawyer – PE/Infrastructure

This large investment manager headquartered in Central London has a growing and high performing private equity arm.  Due to a re-organisation they are looking to hire an experienced funds lawyer as Senior Legal Counsel to their private equity and infrastructure fund business. Reporting into the CEO, and with a dotted line to the Head of Group Legal you will take responsibility for supporting the business with their day to day legal requirements along with a junior lawyer and an experienced paralegal who will both report directly into you.

With at least 7 years’ pqe you will be a capable private funds lawyer with private equity and infrastructure experience.  You will be a robust self-starter with excellent technical skills and a commercial approach.  A strong communicator, you will be proactive in building relationships across the business from day one. 

This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious funds lawyer to take on a challenging role offering you the right balance of autonomy and support from the wider legal team.  With a good mix of technical ability and stakeholder management you will be able to add value very quickly.
