Our client is a high calibre boutique practice in the Cayman Islands with a strong track record acting for clients from around the world. The firm's litigation practice acts on a range of complex matters including commercial disputes, chancery matters, insolvencies, and insurance litigation. Due to the fused legal profession in Cayman, the position affords ample opportunity to gain advocacy experience alongside a conventional solicitor practice.

At present the team are recruiting for a new mid-level associate to join them in 2021. The successful candidate will meet the following criteria:

  • Qualified as a solicitor or barrister in the UK, Canada, Australia, or New Zealand;
  • Approximately 3-5 years' post-qualification experience;
  • Have gained experience working at a top 50 law firm or highly regarded set of chambers;
  • Demonstrable expertise in one or more of the following areas: commercial litigation; insurance disputes; insolvency disputes; chancery matters; trusts litigation.
