The Role


The firm are looking for a proficient Corporate Associate to join their busy city centre department in Leeds, covering a multitude of corporate M&A work.


They have unparalleled knowledge and experience in public company mergers and take private transactions; acquisitions and dispositions of subsidiaries, divisions and other assets. The M&A team are front runners in the market in both number and deal value, representing public and private companies, boards of directors, financial sponsors and financial advisors in the premium deal space.


They take pride in their outstanding reputation in the market for handling high-value matters for their clients. The team facilitate this with their ability to bring full-service capabilities required by clients through the seamless integration of their multidisciplinary teams.


You will be working alongside a pioneering team dealing with a wide range of matters with the highest degree of complexity. The current client base is unprecedented at this juncture, and the team thrive on the exceptional level of work they bring.


Requirements

  • You will be a Corporate Associate with at least 4 years PQE (There is no upper limit to level of PQE)
  • You should have a strong background in this area of law with exposure to high value work
  • A meticulous eye for detail
  • You will be commercially minded and enjoy business development and marketing

Remuneration

  • Salary is competitive around market rate, which will be dependent on experience, on offer is an excellent benefits package and bonus scheme
