Unique opportunity to join a leading FTSE 100 consumer business as a technology lawyer. This is a key position taking the lead on legal support for innovation, automation, robotics and AI.

About the Opportunity 

The role will work directly with the company’s innovations team and have direct exposure to senior management, including the Board. The company operates in a very competitive space and this position will take the lead on managing and negotiating high profile technology contracts which are key to ensuring the company’s competitive edge. This is a high profile role within both the legal team and the wider business and requires an individual with a keen interest in tech, particularly in a consumer setting. The business is investing heavily in innovation and automation; it is a good time for a technology lawyer to be joining the business.

About You

The role will suit a technology law who has a keen interest in innovation and who can work in a highly commercial environment. Fundamental is an ability to provide strong technical support yet work closely with the business, advising in a non-legal way. Ideally, you will have trained and qualified with a leading technology practice and you must have since moved in-house. although an individual coming directly from private practice would be considered. The ability to work with stakeholders in different areas and at different levels across the business is key.
