This international, industry leading and innovate research company are now seeking a Commercial Lawyer to join their inhouse Legal Team in Cambridge.

The Business

They are very well established and highly regarded internationally for the specialist work that they undertake - the corporation have an impressive track record working on high profile, publicised and confidential projects.

Over recent years, they have experienced substantial growth which has put the business in a very strong position to be at the forefront of the market, where they now undertake exciting and diverse projects across a variety of sectors.

The Legal Team are experienced and efficient, responsible for dealing directly with domestic and internationally clients. You will find a clear management structure and very accomplished team of senior Lawyers who will provide you with training and support to be successful and confident in the role.

The Role

This position will offer a level of autonomy where you will be responsible for your own market/ region; meanwhile being provided with full support from Paralegals and an open-door policy from the senior management team.

The work involved is varied within Commercial Law; this includes drafting, reviewing and negotiating on:

  • Commercial Contracts
  • Agreements for Sale
  • Domestic & International Tenders
  • Framework contracts

There will be elements of team management involved in this role, you will be responsible for working to your own initiative; therefore, they are seeking a commercially minded lawyer to hit the ground running and put their mark on the role.

Requirements

  • You will be an experienced Commercial Lawyer with 4PQE +
  • This position is open to Solicitor or CILEX
  • You will have strong proven experience across all areas of Commercial Law
  • Ideally you will have experience working on EU/ International Projects
  • Second language is beneficial
  • You will be confident working autonomously and as part of a wider team
