Job Details
A leading law firm is looking for a Marketing and BD executive to join their team based in the Sheffield office. This person will join an existing team and work closely with the partners and central marketing teams to support all the offices in the group.
Main Responsibilities:
- Maintaining an overview of the local market and seeking opportunities for the firms lawyers to develop local relationships (e.g. relationships with business groups, speaking opportunities etc.)
- Working with each team / partner to implement a plan to develop relationships with an agreed a list of key clients, key intermediaries and target clients
- Managing in house events to promote the firm and individual teams
- Coordinating hospitality initiatives on behalf of the partners
- Working with the central comms team and agency to create marketing collateral
- Working with the central digital team to promote the teams and individual lawyers via the website and social media channels
- Working with the central PR team and agency to drive regular PR coverage for the individual fee earners
- Supporting teams in the preparation of submissions for legal directories
- Maintaining oversight of the office marketing and business development budget
The Candidate:
- Must have experience within professional services or legal sector
- Candidate should be educated to degree level
- Must be able to demonstrate an interest and track record in relation to developing business relationships, often through face to face contact
- Knowledge of CRM systems (Partner) and basic financial analysis an advantage
