The Role

The firm is looking for an entrepreneurial Intellectual Property Partner to join their vibrant central Manchester office.

You will work closely with the other Partners within the Intellectual Property department, and more generally across the firm, to drive the business forwards. You will work as part of a driven and commercially successful leadership team.

You will work on a range of matters to include; copyright, patent or design infringements, technology transfer agreements, protection of designs, licensing deals, joint ventures, trademarks/brands and character merchandising.

This role comes with strong prospects to progress, in line with the growth agenda. The firm are succession planning are keen to find the next generation of senior Lawyers.

Requirements

  • You will be an Intellectual Property Lawyer with at least 8 years PQE (there is no upper limit regarding the amount of PQE)
  • You will have first-class communication
  • Outstanding business development skills
  • An entrepreneurial flair
  • Experience of overseeing a team is desirable, however not essential
  • A transferable client base or regional contacts is highly advantageous

Remuneration

  • Salary is competitive and negotiable depending on your level of experience, on offer is an excellent benefits package and very lucrative bonus scheme
