The Role

The firm is looking for an entrepreneurial Commercial Disputes Partner to join their vibrant central Manchester office.

The department handle a wide variety of commercial trading disputes and related matters for their clients across the UK and Europe.

The firm regularly handles cases in the Court of Appeal and even the House of Lords.

The role itself with involve significant work within shareholder disputes and you should have a first-class knowledge and experience within this area.

Day to day you will also carry out a high value caseload that will include matters covering; breach of commercial contracts, professional negligence, construction contracts, insurance disputes, property disputes, injunction applications and agency terminations.

This role comes with strong prospects to progress, in line with the growth agenda.

Requirements

  • You will be a Commercial Litigation Lawyer with at least 8 years PQE (there is no upper limit regarding the amount of PQE)
  • You will have a strong reputation in handling shareholder disputes
  • You will have first-class communication
  • Outstanding business development skills
  • An entrepreneurial flair
  • Experience of overseeing a team is desirable, however not essential
  • A transferable client base or regional contacts is highly advantageous

Remuneration

  • Salary is competitive and negotiable depending on your level of experience, on offer is an excellent benefits package and very lucrative bonus scheme
