A leading energy business is seeking a 5+ PQE Commercial/Projects lawyer to join the team as Senior Legal Counsel to the business, covering a wide range of commercial, projects and construction matters.
This position can be based in Northampton or Doncaster, with substantial flexibility to work from home for part of the week.
The Role
The Senior Legal Counsel will be responsible for:
- Negotiating, drafting and reviewing a range of commercial contracts, including PPP/PFI contracts, construction and O&M agreements
- Undertaking and managing external legal advisors on large, complex projects and transactions
- Handling and advising on procurement, regulatory and compliance issues
- Providing commercial legal advice to the wider business.
The Person
The successful applicant will be 5+ PQE, with experience in commercial contracts, construction or projects matters.
