The Role

The firm are looking for a Property Litigation Solicitor to join their flourishing Leeds office in the heart of the City.

You will sit as part of the wider Commercial Litigation team, working on a varied and interesting caseload covering both real estate commercial litigation as well as real estate residential litigation. The type of work you will carry out on a day to day basis will include but is not limited to; sale and purchase contract disputes, breach of covenant claims, break notices, boundary/right of way disputes, collective enfranchisement and possession claims.

You will be provided with the tools to develop your technical knowledge and contribute to the profitability of the Property Litigation team in a friendly and supportive environment.

This opportunity comes with excellent prospects for progression as it is a developing role to support the firm's growing Property Litigation caseload; senior positions at the firm are well within reach for the right candidate.

Requirements

  • You will be a Property Litigation Solicitor with at least four years PQE
  • If you are from a more general litigation background, you will have a caseload that is at least 50% property litigation
  • You will have a strong technical knowledge and good communication skills
  • You will have good experience of dealing with large settlements
  • You will have strong business development capabilities
  • Salary is competitive and negotiable depending on your level of experience, on offer is an excellent benefits package and bonus scheme
