Job Details
Our client is an innovative hedge fund with a real focus on technology. As the business continues to grow the legal team are looking to hire a proactive contracts lawyer to be based in either their London or New York office. Your diverse role will involve daily interaction with business colleagues across multiple jurisdictions whilst advising on matters spanning governance, commercial, IP/data protection and employment law.
You take the lead with regards to alternative data so it is essential that you have had prior exposure working on contracts in the alternative data space, most likely in a hedge fund, and that you have a real interest in this continually evolving and creative area. With at least 4 years’ pqe you will be a strong communicator keen to keep on top of market trends while working autonomously and able to take responsibility for growing a new sub-section within the global legal team.
