The firm is looking for an entrepreneurial Intellectual Property Partner to join their buzzing Liverpool office.
You will work closely with the other Partners within the Commercial department, and more generally across the firm, to drive the business forwards. You will work as part of a driven and commercially successful leadership team.
You will deal with a broad client base covering many industry sectors, the sheer level of variety will make for an interesting caseload.
The firm are often acting on large Commercial, Corporate matters working with Technology, Media, Sports, Financial and FTSE 250 companies.
You will work on a range of contentious matters to include; IP rights, designs, trademark disputes, passing off, database rights and copyright disputes work.
This role comes with strong prospects to progress, in line with the growth agenda. The firm are succession planning are keen to find the next generation of senior Lawyers.
- You will be an Intellectual Property Lawyer with at least 8 years PQE (there is no upper limit regarding the amount of PQE)
- You will have first-class communication
- Outstanding business development skills
- An entrepreneurial flair
- Experience of overseeing a team is desirable, however not essential
- A transferable client base or regional contacts is highly advantageous
