Employment and Civil Litigation Solicitor to join full service multi office firm

Our client is a full service firm.  As the next stage in its strategic recruitment plan it is keen to appoint a further employment  and civil litigation solicitor to add strength and depth to the existing team.  The flow of instructions is such that a following is not required but the successful candidate will be keen to take an active role in business development and ideally have local contacts.

The team offers advise to both employers and employees on both contentious and non contentious matters

Non contentious matters include advising on matters such as internal disciplinary, grievance and HR procedures as well as  drafting and updating contracts of employment and staff handbooks.

On the contentious side you will be a confident advocate in the Employment Tribunal and Employment Appeal Tribunal representing clients on a broad range of matters including Unfair Dismissal, Discrimination, Harassment, Equal Pay and Whistle blowing.

In addition to employment law matters you will undertake more general civil litigation matters.
