Job Details

Our client, a regional Legal 500 law firm are seeking a Senior Construction Solicitor ideally with a minimum of 4 years PQE to join their highly regarded team in their Essex office.

The successful candidate will play an integral part in the teams' plans for growth and development, and this is a unique opportunity to play a leading role in that development supported by the partner and the other members of the multidisciplinary team.

You will advise clients on all types of construction disputes, this may also include advising on other contractual and commercial disputes relating to construction clients. You will be exposed to a wide range of clients including local authorities and educational establishments, developers, contractors and specialist subcontractors.

The successful candidate will be confident in delivering high-quality and accurate commercial advice and will have proven experience in handling a caseload covering both non contentious and contentious construction work. You will have experience of all of the major standard forms of contract as well as bespoke construction documentation. You will also ideally have experience of representing clients in adjudication and the TCC.
