Job Details

A looming succession issue, combined with the (now certain) expectation that the current market froideur will translate into sharply elevated work streams from both its panel clearing bank and alternative debt fund clients, means that the directory rated restructuring team at this upper-quartile international law firm is keen to swiftly re-stock its partner bench.

The existing offering encompasses all aspects of non-bondholder restructuring and, aside from being known for securing strong mid-market mandates from clearing banks, financial services organisations and accountants, the team has particular strengths in the energy, healthcare and education sectors.

The restructuring team is keen to strengthen its existing offering with the hire of a connected lateral – ideally with bank-led experience – who can help capitalise on the pending market up-turn. Exceptionally the firm may consider a superstar senior associate, perhaps blocked by business case, as an immediate partner.
