Head of Commercial Property

This expanding, highly regarded regional practice punch well above their weight in the work that they do and are now seeking a Commercial Property Partner to be at the very forefront of the firms offering.

Over recent years the firm have made some heavy-hitting, strategic hires however, due to succession planning a new position has been created in their Commercial Property department, to work within the senior management team and assist in further developing the firm.

This position is available at Senior Solicitor, Partner or Equity Partner level; over the following months of joining, the right individual will inherit a substantial caseload that has been built up over the past few decades. The leading Partner will remain at the firm to assist in this handover allowing for a smooth and supportive transition of clients.

With this in mind, you will be provided with a market leading remuneration package & incentivised bonus scheme.

The Role

The firm will provide you will full support from Paralegals, Trainee Solicitors and a Legal Secretary who you will be responsible for managing - allowing you to focus on fee earning, business development and team management.

The caseload will depend on your own focus, but you can be expected to work on a range of matters such as:

• Landlord and tenant work
• Leases
• Investment work
• Corporate support
• And a focus on large scale developments

Requirements

• You will be an experienced Commercial Property Solicitor or Partner with at least 7 PQE +
• There is no upper limit in PQE
• Experience of managing and mentoring more junior colleagues is advantageous
• You should have first-class communication and strong business development skills
• A transferable client base or regional contacts is highly advantageous
