Commercial Litigation Solicitor

A skilled Commercial Litigation Solicitor is required to join a highly successful commercial litigation department in Newcastle Upon Tyne. This is a career changing role and our client is looking to bring a Commercial Litigation Solicitor in at Partner level, either junior or equity, or Senior Associate with a view to quickly becoming a Partner.

Given the success of the team and the amount of quality disputed work they are managing, our client is seeking a commercial litigator to join the team at a senior level, working closely with the Head of Department on complex litigated matters but also provide some supervision to the department and other fee earners.

The Role

-The team is sizeable team of six and work on high profile quality commercial litigation matters and have recently won a couple high profile and high value disputes in Court.

-The team manage a wide variety of matters including complex contractual disputes, shareholder and director disputes, a small amount of property disputes and large professional negligence disputes. The team do not manage any litigated debt matters.

-The team have recently managed high value engineering contract disputes, injunctions, and some high value complex work.

The Person

-You must be an Associate or equivalent within another highly regarded commercial litigation department. If is envisaged, you will have upwards of six years post qualification experience.

-The ideal candidate will also have some IP or technology experience, but this is not essential. Provided you are a highly skilled commercial litigation specialist with a vast amount of experience you will be happily considered.
