OUR CLIENT
An international Law firm seeks to appoint an interim Head of Risk for a period of 12 months
THE ROLE
The post holder will be expected to take responsibility for the design, development and delivery of risk management strategy and compliance planning on an international basis within the firm.
The role will cover both regulatory and legal matters advising on governance, conducting compliance reviews and investigations, designing and managing risk management procedures. Regulatory work will also include advising on sanctions and policy.
You will also have the opportunity to handle commercial matters; reviewing and managing all contracts, engagement letters and procurement terms. Other work will include overseeing internal legal matters; litigation/claims, employment issues, Brexit planning, GDPR, regulatory, financial service regulation and AML
THE CANDIDATE
The successful candidate will be a qualified Solicitor c 7 + PQE with a solid law firm background gained from an international law firm and a sound understanding of the SRA/ABA Rules
