Exciting clinical development stage Biotech based in London, now seeks a lawyer to support the business as a sole Corporate Counsel or external consultant on a part time basis (c1-2 days per week but with the potential to increase).

The role will report to the CEO and support the business on broad legal issues but with a focus on working on corporate and commercial matters including negotiating and contracting with CROs, universities and collaborators including MSAs, MTAs, CDAs, licensing and collaboration agreements. You will also support on wider legal issues and on company matters including board minutes, as well as instructing outside counsel on specialist legal areas.

You will be a lawyer with existing life sciences commercial /corporate experience ideally from within another similar in-house environment, whilst existing biotech experience will be advantageous. You will also have the ability to be both 'hands on' and strategic, have a proactive approach and operate at all levels across a small, dynamic and fast moving organisation.
