Head of Legal - Interim Contract - General Commercial

Handle are currently recruiting an interim Head of Legal to cover maternity within the legal team of a very well-known global brand. This will be a 1yr FTC, starting in Feb/March ’21.

The role will suit a general commercial lawyer, with responsibilities including the provision of legal advice across marketing (including brand campaigns, consumer activations, advertising, sponsorship etc.), IP, supply chain, data privacy, regulatory, trading and competition law.

You will be a senior team member and, as such, will be expected to play a key role in ensuring the legal requirements of the UK business are effectively serviced; whilst also taking responsibility for managing a small team.

You should have c.4/5yrs+ PQE*, have proven in-house experience as a general commercial lawyer in a fast-paced environment, preferably as part of a large, ideally global, organisation, and be available for a 1yr contract starting in late Feb/March ‘21.
