Insurance Coverage Associate; You will be working within a leading US firm, within their highly reputable insurance group. You will be acting for Policyholders as opposed to Insurers, on complex policy wordings, notifications and claims on a wide range of policies. You will be involved with both contentious and non-contentious matters.

You will be given the full support of the group and the International offices encompassed within the group.

The Role

This is a brilliant opportunity within a US Practice for an Associate to join this leading Insurance Coverage group.

You will be an ambitious junior associate looking to join a leading Insurance Coverage group - highly ranked and lead by a number of Hall of Fame and leading individuals. The group act across non-contentious work as well as litigation & Arbitration AGAINST Insurers.

  • You will act for Commercial Policyholders
  • You will advise on policy wordings, notifications and claims on a wide range of Policies.
  • You will be based In the disputes team, however you will be involved in both contentious and non-contentious matters.
    There will be an opportunity to work and gain experience in relation to transactional insurance products and advising clients on risk mitigation techniques generally.

The team are highly ranked in the Legal 500 and have a number of leading individuals working not only in the UK, but the US, Asia and Australia.

Requirements

  • You will be a qualified solicitor between 1-4 Years PQE
  • You will have worked within a leading city practice or Insurance group
  • Commercial awareness and understanding of the key legal and business issues.
  • Experience acting for Policyholders would be desirable
