Planning Solicitor

A major law firm is looking for a high calibre Planning Solicitor to join its team based in Leeds city centre. Leeds is the firm's Planning 'hub' and manages all Planning matters nationally across a diverse client base of both public and private sector clients.

This is a busy, high performing legal team which offers a nice balance of 'business as usual' work supporting a top flight property team as well as significant strategic planning matters. You will work on a top-quality caseload, advising on matters in relation to all aspects of planning law including highways and compulsory acquisition, major retail, mixed use and office developments, housing developments, energy & waste and largescale infrastructure projects. This is a first-class opportunity for an ambitious solicitor to work with a team we rate highly, which will be fully invested in your professional development.

The team is very open minded about what level this roles is recruited at and is happy to consider applicants with anything from around 2 years PQE, right through to applicants with considerably more experience. The key thing is that you are team spirited, have an ambition to succeed and a passion for this area of law.

Whilst a phased return to office working is under way, longer term home working will be supported with good systems in place to support this.
