The employment team in Birmingham forms part of a national practice acting for clients throughout the UK across various sectors including charities, central and local government, education, health and social care, housing and development, and pension funds.

The successful employment solicitor joining this highly reputable employment team in Birmingham will undertake a full range of contentious and non-contentious employment matters which will include:

- Employment tribunals 
- Policies and procedures 
- Terms and conditions
- Disciplinaries and grievances 
- TUPE
- Pensions 
- Discrimination
- Employee relations
- Whistleblowing
- Outsourcing arrangements 

This position is ideally suited to junior employment solicitors between one and three years' PQE. Employment solicitors applying for this position should be able to display:

- A strong academic background
- Training and post-qualified experience gained with a reputable regional or national practice
- Strong technical knowledge and commercial acumen
- Experience in and an enthusiasm for business development and client relationship management
- Excellent communication skills
