Our client is one of the leading producers of gripping, high-quality scripted film and TV.

We are seeking an experienced lawyer with scripted TV/film production experience to join the business on a 4 month contract initially. You will look after the company's day-to-day development, legal and business affairs for its scripted drama slate and support the team on broader operations and distribution management as and when required.

You will advise on all commercial and legal aspects of our client's development, production, distribution and finance activities. As such, you will negotiate, draft and review the full range of agreements in the context of UK film, television and digital development and production (e.g. development agreements, production commissioning agreements, co-production agreements, first look agreements as well as contributor, talent, location, facilities, supplier and access agreements).

You will be a UK qualified solicitor (or equivalent) with a strong technical grounding from a top law firm or media business. Experience of advising or working with international broadcasters, distributors and producers on intellectual property issues is highly desirable.

The client can consider candidates on a 4 or 5 day a week basis. Please note that this role requires someone who can start ASAP.
