Job Details
My client, a FTSE 100 Plc, is seeking to recruit an in-house counsel to deliver high quality legal advice on a broad range of contentious and non-contentious matters in the areas of competition law and dispute resolution.
Reporting into the Head of Competition & Dispute Resolution in the Global Head Office in Bristol, the role will assist with the delivery of day-to-day case management of high value contentious competition and dispute resolution matters including contractual disputes, commercial litigation, investigations and appeals as well assisting with the provision of competition law advice, training and guidance. The work is high value, complex and of 'city' quality, often with an international angle.
A qualified solicitor with a minimum of 2 years' PQE you will currently be working either in commercial litigation or contentious competition and have an interest in developing your skills in both areas in a supported environment. In addition to possessing strong academic results and training and experience at a top tier law firm or in-house, you must be a skilled communicator and capable of interacting with the business at all levels. Strong technical ability is essential. Prior in-house experience is not necessary.
This role would suit either a lawyer in a city firm looking for a lifestyle change or a regional lawyer ready for a new challenge.
