The Role

The firm are looking to hire an experienced Commercial Litigation Solicitor into their Cambridge Office

The firm are seeking an ambitious and experienced Solicitor, to assist in the next growth stage for this leading Top 200 in their Legal500 ranked team.

You will be working within one of the regions strongest Dispute Resolution & Litigation teams and will play a pivotal role, working with the Partners, to drive the department forwards and ensure future success. The team covers all areas of Commercial Litigation for high profile clients across exciting sectors; work includes:

  • Employment Disputes
  • Contract Disputes
  • Landlord & Tenant Disputes
  • General Commercial Litigation
  • Insolvency Litigation
  • Contentious Probate

You will work in synergy with other departments therefore you must be adaptable, this approach undertaken by the firm has created a sociable culture across their offices. You will be encouraged to assist in their business development and networking campaigns; allowing you to further build your regional presence and own network of clients.

You will also be responsible for assisting in managing and training junior fee earners and support staff within the department - so previous experience of this is advantageous.

This team are regularly referred work from other areas of the firm, and you will be given full support to service your own contacts should you be able to bring this with you.

Requirements

  • You will be an experienced Commercial Litigation Solicitor with 3 PQE +
  • (There is no upper limit in PQE)
  • You will have an excellent technical knowledge across all matters and a strong billings history
  • You should have evidence of successful business development and a client following is advantageous
